Several years ago I was on holiday in Florida and I visited a
Japanese community where there was an amazing exhibition of embroidery which I will never forget!
It was so outstanding that we walked aroung the exhibition twice!
Obviously we cannot get exactly the same look with our embroidery machines but these designs represent the skill and beauty of the work sewn lovingly on Kimonos and other items.
The designs feature gnarled branches with beautiful blossoms that look like they have been hand sewn.
Experiment with different colours to vary your look. This designs work successfully with metallic threads!
There are 6 sets in this collection including two new sets featuring combined designs enabling you to embroider this fantastic trio of canvases!
Each design is available with and without the Outline Alignment Stitches.

I have put together two sets of combined designs to enable you to create larger embroidery projects.
The first set contains designs for large hoops and the second set features designs for much larger hoops that are 200mm wide.
Be sure to check the exact measurements below and that your hoops will accomodate the designs.
Each design has its own Outline Alignment stitches.

The first set has 10 designs, half for your 5" x 7" hoop, and the other half for your 9½" x 6" hoop.

This second set has 5 designs for those with Royal hoops and similar 360mm x 200mm hoops.
*The fifth design can be stitched in a Majestic or Grand Dream (360mm x 350mm) hoop, but has also been split for all formats as well.
The outline alignment stitches will help you do embroider this successfully!

When combining designs I suggest that you examine the branches to see where they could be extended.
Place a design with a limb of a branch under the flower of another design, being careful to follow the lines of the branches.
You could also use the freebie from this set as it is perfect for joining designs together.
