Tutorial 7: Quilting in the hoop.

Graceful Embroidery has several sets of beautiful quilt blocks and this 55 page tutorial guides you on how to quilt them in the hoop, and join them together with many large colour photographs and diagrams. There are lots of tips and ideas, based on my experience and experimentation, as well as some unique quilt blocks for you to try including 5 10½" square blocks one of which is a frame to enclose existing 8" blocks. Included in the tutorial are unique Celtic Grace quilt blocks, 3 for 5" hoops, 3 for 6" hoops and 3 for 8" hoops, with instructions to create a quilted table runner before attempting anything bigger, as well as some quilting designs for your sashing. My method will produce quilt blocks that look as good on the back as they do on the front. There will be another quilting tutorial to follow on from this one. Please check the width of your hoops to see which designs you will be able to use.
